The primary responsibility of a Short Sale Specialist is to perform all short sale functions of delinquent loans for our institutional clients and consumers in a timely manner, minimizing financial losses to the clients. Will be directly responsible to manage a portfolio of distressed short sale assets including monitoring contact and conversations with realtors, borrowers and clients related to the short sale process, negotiating cash-for-cooperation, and overall negotiation associated with obtaining investor/MI approval on suggested list prices and sales prices. Will be directly responsible to review BPOs and valuations and create marketing plans for the resolution of short sale properties.
Assist the Short Sale Operations Manager in executing the departmental platform, process and organizational infrastructure.
Directly monitor short sale negotiations and develop marketing strategies and plans..
Directly responsible for the portfolio performance including timeline management, portfolio execution associated with the resolution of short sale properties.
Assist in the development and implementation of short sale departmental policy and procedures.
Conform and maintain procedures to comply with investor, guarantor and rating agency requirements

SUMMARY:
Provide administrative support and follow up for the Auditors; quality control review of Broker Price Opinion’s on a national level.
