The role involves re-underwriting loans to a prescribed method; this includes reviewing loan files for completeness, accuracy and adherence to client/lender policies and procedures. Analysing credit documents, including, but not limited to, mortgage/loan applications, credit history, income documents, title documents, property valuations and all applicable financial documents. Identify portfolio risks resulting from client's underlying business practices, underwriting, and/or fraud exposure. In addition candidates must be computer literate and numerate and able to demonstrate analytical thinking. The ability to work as part of a team is a key factor as is the capacity to work with little supervision.

Key Skills and Requirements


5+ years in the residential mortgage/financial services industry, experienced in holding/operating an underwriting mandate

Team player, who is supportive, reliable, responsible and adaptable

Ability to produce high-volume, high-quality output

Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task

Attention to detail, with the ability to plan ahead and meet targets

Good keyboard skills


The work is normally carried out on the premises of the lenders or the loan servicers so contractors need to be able to travel and be willing to stay away from home whilst working.

TITLE: DATA ANALYST
The focus of this position includes creating job streams, reports and procedures as needed as well as assisting in analyzing, developing, and testing new processes and modifying existing processes. Coordinating the installation of the software is included, Implements and participates in testing, verification and acceptance of the systems and provides support of the design and set up to clients and other company personnel.

Knowledge of MPE, Unix Operating systems, Windows 2000, UC4 Enterprise Scheduler, UNIX  shell scripting. Banking or finance experience is a plus.
Looking for 2-5 years experience in all of the above areas. Experience with automated job scheduling utilities and computer operstions preferred. Experience with Unix Operating systems and POSIX shell scripting preferred.

Job Details
·         Key “Production Support Generalist" individual contributor, with accountability for Production support on the Level 3 Security Services team.
·         The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical experience
·         24x7 production support, participate in shift work (most likely 2nd shift 1 PM ET - 9 PM ET)
·         Experience working for a large organization is a plus
·         This engineer will be a member of a 24 x 7 team of engineers with similar skills and responsibilities, and will be required to work collaboratively to ensure all critical business needs are being met.
·         Tasks included but not limited to trouble shooting to restore services for Production issues

Defines business/system requirements by facilitating user meetings and interviewing users, developing use cases, and researching and resolving issues.
Participates in business analysis project planning and management by documenting and maintaining plans, managing issue logs and preparing project documentation.
Analyzes current processes and recommends solutions and improved processes.
May also oversee the acquisition, analysis and dissemination of subject matter knowledge. Provides technical and business knowledge to clients.
Keeps abreast of technological and competitive developments.
Conducts research on industry practices and standards and other benchmarking data.
Codes and maintains business application programs from user instructions or formal functional specifications.
Experience in the analysis and testing phases in the development cycle. In addition having experience of 6+ years.
